This Privacy Policy explains how FormCompass AI ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. We do not collect or store payment card details ourselves — payments are handled entirely by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat (see Section 4).
If you grant permission, we access your device's camera and photo/video library so you can submit a video for analysis. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings.
We also automatically collect basic device and usage data — such as device model, operating system version, app version, and general diagnostic/crash information — to keep the Service secure and working properly.

If you are located in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases to process your information: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), the need to perform our contract with you (providing the Service you signed up for), our legitimate business interests (such as keeping the Service secure and improving it), and compliance with legal obligations.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only as we instruct. We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
The Service uses AI/machine learning technology, provided through OpenAI and Google Cloud AI, to analyze the exercise videos you submit and generate your muscle-emphasis ranking and technique feedback. Your video frames and related data are shared with these providers solely to produce your analysis, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Our servers and service providers are located in Ireland and the United States. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries, which may not have the same data protection laws as your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information in these transfers.
We retain your personal information for as long as you have an account with us. When you delete your account, we delete your account information, credits, videos, and analysis results, except where we are required to retain limited data for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under this age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@formcompassai.com and we will take steps to delete it.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly by deleting your account in the app, or by contacting us at support@formcompassai.com.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Our Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no accepted industry standard for how to interpret them.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy of it, opt out of certain processing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information to service providers for business purposes: identifiers (such as your email address), commercial information (such as subscription/payment status), and audio/visual information (the videos you submit for analysis). We have not sold this information.
To exercise your rights, contact us at support@formcompassai.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing us at the same address.
When you submit a video for analysis, it is uploaded to our storage and processed to generate your result. During processing, still frames are extracted from your video and analyzed by third-party services we use, including Railway, Make.com, Cloudinary, and AI providers (OpenAI and Google), to produce your technique feedback. Your video and the images derived from it are used solely to generate your analysis result and are not used for any other purpose.
Your uploaded videos and the images derived from them are retained only as long as necessary to produce and deliver your analysis. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which deletes your account, your uploaded videos, and the associated processing artifacts from our storage and from the third-party services listed above. Some cached copies held by processing services may persist for a short period before being automatically removed.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
